Might Like You Better (C-Hippy Remix)...

Oh yes, you read correctly my friends - the Patrick Quinn blog has been through its biggest graphical overhaul since, well, it started. We now have a motherfucking banner, have a look! It's got colours, and reflections, along with many other cool features!

Well, that's quite enough of that frivolity. I've really got nothing of any interest to write about, which is good, because nobody reads these anyway, but hey, here goes:

College, as per usual, is boring, and seeming more and more pointless as I get buried under mounting amounts of work I know I will never do.

Work is taking longer and longer on the closes after the switchover to company, but hey, that was to be expected - trying to do several decades' worth of work in a few weeks was never going to be easy.

Love life is taking a backseat for the moment, I have nothing really to offer, and don't think I can really be bothered with the drama of the whole lot again for a while. I had a dream about an ex the other day, and she was as whiny and bitchy in that as she is in real life - got me thinking!

Books have been laying dormant for a while - I'm going to post up the first couple of chapters to Primum at some point for your reading pleasure, but can't really get cracking until all the exams are out of the way.

Yes, you read it right. Well, I assume you did - two in one ear sounds excessive, even taking the kink factor into account... Anyway, it's 2 a.m. and I have precious little else to do, so why not write in my blog that nobody reads? Indeed, the weird little life I lead continues.

You'll be happy to know that, far from my previous entries claims of a 'brand new start' with notes and computers and learning, I have returned to my old college self - work hard in the lessons, try and blag off the homework - because home time is for work, or Xbox. There is nothing else. I'm doing just about enough to get by, but only just. A good day for me, currently, is one in which a good 50% of work due is done.

The thing is, because of my 'amber' attendance (I bunked college the Friday before half-term to catch the first showing of Saw VI - no regrets at all), I have to go to every lesson, save my tutorial and Politics that finds themselves cancelled tomorrow/today. That sucks, because my timetable is one of 9am starts, and 4.20 finishes, every day, leaving massive gaps (filled recently by copious amounts of Pulp Fiction in the cafe) in the middle.

Anyway, not that you care, but I passed my Crew Trainer verification today, pretty much makes my promotion, and its associated payrise, official, which is good news for my bank account, which will be suffering the hit of car insurance premiums within the next month. Also good news for the new hat and badge I shall soon receive - good times...

Love life seems stagnant at the moment, couple of potentials in the pipeline - and the re-emergence of an old flame that I thought had gone out. Seems a bit weird but I'm starting to miss having someone to come home too - and an empty car will only really exacerbate that. But no worries, as they say, it's all about the Triple-F. For some, perhaps not me.
